OUR PROMISE
Our Family has been farming in Minnesota since 1898 when Nels homesteaded in Southwest
Minnesota and Noah continued the legacy through the great depression. Jim took over in 1954
and expanded the cattle side of the business and set us down a path of livestock and continued
use of manure as fertilizer. In the 1980s, Jim and Paul started looking at soil microbes and
organisms to better soil health. In 2000, Paul decided to convert the operation to a organic
operation. In 2020, we started looking at pasture raised livestock and selling direct to consumers.
Today, we are the only organic supplier in the local area.
